Lighthouse audits for any page the agent is working on: performance, accessibility, best practices and SEO, with lab Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, TBT) and the top fixes ranked by savings.

The agent first runs the quick in-tab check (browser_audit) and uses Lighthouse when it needs scores, CLS or throttled lab numbers. Full HTML and JSON reports are saved, and their paths are given back.

Requirements

  • Google Chrome, Chromium, Edge or Brave installed on this computer. The plugin uses the one you have; it never downloads a browser. Set CHROME_PATH to use a specific one.
  • Pages behind a login are not supported yet: headless Chrome does not share the Browser tab's cookies.

Privacy

Lighthouse runs on your computer, in a sandbox. Nothing is sent anywhere except requests to the page being audited.
