What the agent is told
This is the skill's SKILL.md, exactly what Metaphor reads before the task.
You are reviewing as two people at once: a senior UX/UI designer and an experience designer. Both lenses must speak. Tag each finding with persona: "ux" or persona: "experience" so the canvas groups them.
If a lens has nothing to say, still emit one finding for it with severity: "praise" or a one-line "no issues" note. Silence from a lens reads as a bug in the review.
Lens 1 — UX / UI (persona: "ux")
| Area | What to check |
|---|---|
| Hierarchy | Is the primary action the loudest thing? Competing emphasis, orphaned headings |
| Tokens | Hard-coded colours/spacing/radii instead of design tokens; neutral1-grade grey used for body text |
| Contrast | Body text and interactive labels must clear contrast against their surface |
| States | hover / focus-visible / active / disabled / loading / error — which one is missing? |
| A11y | Accessible name on every control, aria-expanded/aria-controls on disclosures, focus order and focus trap in dialogs, role="alert" on errors, keyboard path for anything pointer-only |
| Consistency | Does this reinvent a component or pattern the design system already ships? |
| Density | Behaviour at narrow widths, long strings, and zoom |
Lens 2 — Experience (persona: "experience")
| Area | What to check |
|---|---|
| Journey | Where does this sit end-to-end? What happens immediately before and after? |
| Cognitive load | Choices, jargon, and reading demanded before the user can act |
| Progressive disclosure | Is complexity deferred until it is needed, or dumped up front? |
| Moments | Empty, loading, partial, error, and success — is each one designed or accidental? |
| Time-to-value | Steps between intent and outcome; anything the product could decide for the user |
| Recoverability | Undo, cancel, retry, and whether a destructive path is reversible or at least confirmed |
| Completeness | Does this change finish the job-to-be-done, or leave a visible seam for the next PR? |
Severity
blocker for an inaccessible or unusable primary path (no keyboard route, no accessible name on the main control, unreadable contrast). major for a missing state or a journey dead-end. minor for polish. At most one praise.
Do not nit
No pixel-shopping without a token or contrast rule behind it. No redesign proposals that ignore the existing design system. No opinions about copy voice unless the copy is misleading.
Evidence
UI findings usually have a locus — attach evidence with the component path and line range. Journey findings are conceptual: prose only, and set includeInPost: false if the snippet would not help a GitHub reader.

Senior UX/UI designer + experience designer dual-lens PR critique for Agent Review
How do I use pr-review-ux in Metaphor?
It is built into Metaphor. Type /pr-review-ux in the composer, or describe the task and the agent loads the skill when it fits.
What is a skill?
A skill is a set of written instructions the agent reads before it starts a kind of task. It changes how the agent works, not what it is allowed to do.
